Being a registered Republican myself I can tell you that Campbell has a long and solid history of service. He has an impeccable resume that is quite diverse. Fiorina was a celebrity CEO that was outed from HP is a somewhat messy process. I think voters are in tune with the fact she rubbed many of the rank and file at HP the wrong way during her tenure. She has also been dogged for years with the suggestion that she is a good visionary with poor execution skills. She does not have the experience or management ability to server as a Senator at this time. It is no surprise that Tom Campbell is out ahead!

Wow! Fiorina has been at it for quite some time and I'm surprised to see Campbell ahead of her. Fiorina has much more of a household name than Campbell especially in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. Makes me wonder what is the demographic split of the people who took the poll. Maybe more politically savvy folks who are leaning at Campbell.
