Great points! But there is thought that housing illegals in offshore prisons will actually be cheaper than detention and deportation over a 10 year period due to the astronomical incarceration and legal costs.

Overcrowding has been a issue for over 10 years. Unfortunately we are in a budget deficit and everyone is going to be affected. If these kids want to go so bad, the state should attempt to put in a program that requires two summers of "volunteer" work at the state level for all undergrads which can defer costs to the state.

Sad that this actually has to be spelled out in a State of the State address!
